Hi, I’m Sisca, a mentor for busy mums seeking more joy and calm in their lives. I’m an independent working mother of a beautiful boy and an accountant by profession. I love numbers – how could I not?! But I also love building relationships and guiding people to get to where they want to be.
Raising small humans while working full-time isn’t for the faint-hearted, whether you are independent or partnered, so kudos to you. I know what it’s like and the challenges is brings. In times of struggle, it’s natural to want to push on and just get to the next thing on your never ending To Do list. Sometimes, that’s the only way to manage and survive. But what if you didn’t just survive? What if you could thrive?
I know what it feels like to be lost in the dark cloud of stress and overwhelm. There never seems to be enough time for all the things you need to do. And, of course, as a mum, everyone else always comes first and there’s never any time left for you. I have been blessed with a beautiful support network and learned to lean on them when I need them. But I know that not all mothers have that tribe supporting them. This is why I am passionate about supporting mums in stepping out of the cycle of stress and overwhelm using a holistic blend of life experience and ideal products and actions that will realign their motherhood journey.
Life as a mother gets busy in the blink of an eye. Any pocket of free time doesn’t stay empty for long! There’s always a work meeting, a kid’s event, school drop-offs and pick-ups, weekend and after school activities, housework, family celebrations… the list goes on (and there’s always something to add to it!). Without realising it, we mums put everyone else first and often forget to look after ourselves.
Busy Mum Hacks is a safe space for busy mums to find inspiration and information to start your transformation from overwhelmed to calm and in control of your life. I enjoy sharing tips, recipes and products that make your life easier. You don’t have to hit rock bottom before changing the way you care for yourself and your family.
I’m not a psychologist or a counsellor. I’m a mother who cares about community and is passionate about creating a meaningful and purposeful life – for myself and others! I will listen and hold space for you, but more importantly, I will inspire you to Do the things and Be the person that will create a shift for you.
